2010: Fangirls of the Greatest Generation

The seventh fangirl storyline was also the last, taking place as a flashback within the climactic battle of '99. How did Walter and Alucard recognize fangirls in the first storyline? They had faced this menace before.

The 1943-era fangirl attack was dispatched in the end by the inimitable Jeeves. Unfortunately for his protegé, it wasn't clear exactly how he'd done it.

The whole ordeal made such an impression on young Walter that no lesser threat has scared him since.

Arthur Hellsing

Personality: I am rather down-to-earth as far as most things are concerned, but I can be very shy around those whom I admire. I also tend to notice little things most people don't and therefore solve problems rather quickly; it's just that most often because of my timidity, my explanations are not heard. Je parle francais bien, aussi. The place I would be most likely to perch on is one of the strands of hair beside Alucard's ear or on his shoulder because I would not like to exceptionally hinder anyone. I would like to see Reginald Jeeves fight someone. I ship Alucard and Walter, Wooster and Jeeves, and Islands and Penwood.
Rant: Hellsing is possibly the best thing to ever come out of Japan. The plot is fun, the art is wonderful, and the characters are by no means two-dimensional. I'm really not sure what gender Alucard is and frankly, I don't care; he can rock a Jackie O pillbox hat as well as he can a fedora. Walter is the reason I am proud to have family from Britain. Arthur makes me laugh with his antics; someday, though, according to canon, he will be a great father. I admire Sir Penwood for keeping on top of all the craziness and you can't help but love Alucard's coffin; I wish my bed was as half as interesting.

Personality: , I've read Shine since about a week after I discovered Hellsing, so I've kind of subconsciously absorbed all of your pairings. Alucard/Integra, Heinkel/Yumie/ko, Young Walter/GirlyCard, etc. (I tried to pick a favorite, but I have a terrible soft spot for all of them.) I would definitely need to be on the shoulder of either of our fine gentlemen- that way I can bother Jeeves with my problems and ask Walter to explain the appeal of tea. (I've never quite understood tea.) I'm not exactly shy, but if I ever met the objects of my fannish adoration I'd probably be a bit more...reserved than most fangirls. But I'm very clingy and I like to be helpful, so I'd probably unintentionally get in the way of their awesomeness. I'm a bit of a sci fi geek, although there's a lot of stuff I still have to watch.
Rant: Jeeeeeves! I'm a huge fan! You're so competent, and dependable, and a zillion times smarter than everyone else. And you look like Stephen Fry! Has anyone ever told you that? No, of course, not. And another thing: I wrote a second world war story, where my main character is named Walter, even if he has nothing to do with Walter from Hellsing. (I started as a fanfiction, but I turned it into an original story.)
Rant: EEEEE!!! It's Walter, it's really Walter, my little Walter! He is so cute, but no, cute is not the word for him. He is simply perfect, that is, with his handsome face, dark eyes, childish smile and easy-going style! Personality: I'm pretty shy, but can get loud when I want to. I would probably sit on his head, so I can see better( and because his hair is awesome, but that's for later). I don't see a whole lot of romance, but... Alucard x Walter, because it's funny. I will also get loud if I or someone I like is criticized. I'd try not to bother him too much so he can continue being awesome, so I'd probably shut up if I annoyed him a lot.
Rant: First off, I think Walter needs more credit. He does so much without Alucard's help, and only then does Alucard come in. Besides that, he's just so AWESOME! He has dental floss of doom and he's not afraid to use it! I mean, seriously, wouldn't everyone want to have that? I've actually tried it once, with floss, but it didn't work. I wish it could, because then I could be like Walter, and that would be amazing! Walter is just so awesome and everyone should realize that!

Alucard might find a few tiny bat plushies in his coffin at some point after the fangirls leave. I know an Alucard/Coffin pairing is almost canon, but cargo shipping is a little too squicky for me.
