i definitely like this one, luke-girl looks a lot like luke. jan's hair seems a bit puffy though, i would have imagined her with longer hair but still stringy like the original jan's. but i like it anyway, don't bother taking my advice i can't draw so i don't have very much experience when it comes to drawing. i can only draw chibis SOMETIMES. and even then they are only chibi heads! U.U *disappointed in herself*

"Jane" was a mistake (probably) made by the manga editors because they weren't familiar with "Jan" being a German/Polish/(and a few other European countries that escape my mind) of "John".

Must have thought Hirano meant a "girl's name" and corrected the "mistake" despite it was obviously a male character.

This has amazing art! (everything is so propeortioned and pretty...) And a very relevant question. I mean, really, floppy hats make it amazingly difficult to see when wearing, and not to even metion rose-tinted glasses. It's hard to see in the daytime with such things, not to mention night. He either (a) sees right through his head gear or (b) wears them in order to make things more interesting, i.e. challenge himself.
