[100] Gramarye

Elizabeth 2003/12/27
The lyrics are from a song that's -- well, not completely Seras, but is any song, really?

Full lyrics:

[Beneath the sound of a piano] Here they come, here they come
Here they come and they might as well
Too many birds in my confusion now
Now they'll circle over this house till we take them in [Piano ends]

You show me a sign to rise up from the world we know
And she's strung out on life
He soon rolls his teeth
Spilling out from a mouth fit to overflow
Back into me

She moves and it's fire
(Fire underwater)
Speaks and it's flame
(She speaks my name)
Well they all really want you
If only you had wanted them

Lights move in the chalk lines
Chains that define who I am
Here we are again
(How could I have seen?)
Always she's driving
(How could I have known?)
Right through the strangest calling
(I should have known)
Straight through the sound
(Gramarye, I've found)
See how she's driving me down

Straight from the sound
She's seen as a bright sun to anyone
Hollow and mined
With the weight of the world
Trailing out till the last train
Discovers me
Alive on vine

She moves and it's fire
(Fire underwater)
Speaks and it's flame
(She speaks my name)
As you move in a chalk line
Change in the dream that I am
Here we are the same

(I used to see something in the idea
But only once did my hands reach
Anything beautiful
Now she's turned away
And I, oh . . . .)

We move in it's fire
(Fire underwater)
Speak and it's flame
(It speaks my name)
She proves soon the liar
In every one of them
(We are the same)
Lights move in a chalk line
Change in the fire who I am
Here we are again
How could I have seen?
(Always she's driving)
How could I have known?
(Right through the strangest calling)
Straight through the sound,
Gramarye, I have found,
See how she's driving me
Always she's driving
Back through the strangest calling
Straight through the sound
Gramarye, I found
See how she's driving me down

Lurve teh shading, as always.

Re:Gramarye
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2003/12/28
Gorgeous. Really, really gorgeous.  The hair. The shading. The skin. The . . . hair!! The pose, the proportions. The shading on the hair. The angle. The look in her eyes. I can't get over that hair...

Re:Gramarye
Elizabeth 2003/12/28
OH. I forgot to give credit to Erin-san -- guess whose picture of Integra I used as reference for the gun hand?

Re:Gramarye
Lucy the Seras Fangirl [Home Page] 2003/12/29
This picture is mad crazily good! LOL Despite my horrible use of descriptive words, I hope you can tell that I love this picture. Her expression is great, and the shading and colors are no exception! Draw more Seras! Please! You're so wonderful at it >^_^<

Re:Gramarye
Morgan [Home Page] 2003/12/31
May I hoard your talent now? o_0 Goodness you can color like there's no tomorrow, and your anatomy...gosh, I can't even begin to describe all the envyenvyenvy.

[102] As the World Falls Down

Elizabeth 2003/12/28
The song is "As the World Falls Down" by David Bowie. (I hope I got the song right -- you didn't give me the artist! It was the only one listed on Songlyrics.com, though . . .)

Full lyrics can be obtained here: http://www.songlyrics.com/song-lyrics/David+Bowie/Miscellaneous/As+The+World+Falls+Down/21650.html

Oh, and I have a little anecdote to share . . . .

As I was toning Seras' dress, I was having a little trouble figuring out where the shading would go, so on the bottom layer at a low opacity I drew a sketch of her legs as if there were no dress on them, then on the top layer I drew a sort of black blob, just for my own reference, to represent the lightsource. At the time, my mom and sister were looking for a notebook, and my mom happened to come over to the computer.

She remarked that the black blob looked really cool. I of course stared at her like she was crazy and told her that it was just the lightsource. She said it still looked cool -- like someone had torn through the wall. (At this time the blob was watercolour, so it had fadey edges.) I said, "Well, who would tear through Seras' wall?"

And then it hit me exactly who *would* . . . and not in a physical sense, either! ^__^ So thanks mom, for inadvertantly pointing out my -- ah, subconscious stroke of genius. XD

Re:As the World Falls Down
Soliloquy [Home Page] 2003/12/29
I can't believe you did that! I feel very special right about now! I think I'm going to cry. *Sniff*

Re:As the World Falls Down
Maddie [Home Page] 2003/12/29
Dude...little red eyes in t3h blob thing if you look carefully.

Re:As the World Falls Down
Morgan [Home Page] 2003/12/29
The shading and the light is so perfect. I would never be able to do that with tones or watercolors!

Re:As the World Falls Down
Lucy the Seras Fangirl [Home Page] 2003/12/29
This is an amazing, wonderful picture, and I think that the song fits perfectly! I love EVERYTHING about it, black blob and all ^^ I think this reflects Seras' feelings very accurately, and... well, I just think it's GREAT!! Do you think that I could put it on the art section of my website? I would credit you, of course! It's just such an awesome oekaki, and I would be honored to be able to feature it there (although it WOULD far outshine my humble fanart :-)

Re:As the World Falls Down
Elizabeth 2003/12/29
! Well, if that's really what you want, though I've seen your artwork, and it's pretty darn cute! ^^;

[104] *sigh*

Elizabeth 2003/12/30
This isn't turning out the way I want it to, so I think I'll finish it tomorrow.

Re:*sigh*
Elizabeth 2003/12/31
Hehe, done. By the way . . . lyrics can be obtained at http://www.songlyrics.com/song-lyrics/Relient+K/Anatomy+Of+The+Tongue+In+Cheek/For+The+Moments+I+Feel+Faint/73481.html

And, uh, yes, I am very much an Enrico x Integra shipper. Why? Because they deserve each other. They really do.

Re:*sigh*
Elizabeth 2003/12/31
OH. They're supposed to be standing on a cross. I don't suppose you can really tell, can you.

Re:*sigh*
Morgan [Home Page] 2003/12/31
Nooo! Don't go to the dark side! *cling*

Never the less, your art never ceases to amaze me. *-* But where are Integra's glasses?

Re:*sigh*
Morgan [Home Page] 2003/12/31
And I was only kidding about "dark side". I'm really not that biased, I swear. nn; I'm just a personal AxI shipper, so yeah.

And this is still beautiful!

Re:*sigh*
Elizabeth 2003/12/31
There are several explanations for her lack of glasses:

1. She lost them. Somehow.

2. Enrico stole them.

3. Alucard stole them.

4. She got contacts.

5. God performed a miracle and healed her vision.

6. I forgot them.

You choose.

Re:*sigh*
Soliloquy [Home Page] 2004/1/1
Well I think this picture is beautiful. I choose 2. Enrico stole them, because that's just something he would do even if he were with Integra.

Re:*sigh*
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/2
Wow, this is spiffy.

Generally speaking, their arms are too thin and their shoulders are too narrow - it might just be the angle, but it looks more pronounced on Enrico.

Other than that . . . Perfect lyrics for those two, especially as a couple. (I'm very much AxI, but if you can write a fanfic where they get together and stay in character, I'll accept any pairing.) The clothes are well-done; they look very warm and cozy ^_^

One last thing: You don't really like Enrico or Integra, do you?

Re:*sigh*
Elizabeth 2004/1/2
No. No I do not. Not at all.

Re:*sigh*
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/3
Hence the line where she said that they deserve each other.

And they both look very young (head ratio?), but this is still cute.

[106] Five Minutes Later

Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/3
Parody of Elizabeth's picture ^^ I couldn't resist. They looked so happy with each other, and that never lasts long when these two are together. So here's the scene five minutes after the one Elizabeth showed =P

Re:Five Minutes Later
Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/3
I started laughing so hard, the office chair slid back, hit my piano, thus ending with the chair and I in a pile on the floor. But now I am reminded to go and practice the piano so...

Other than the throbbing headache, this is absolutely adorable. =D

Re:Five Minutes Later
Kipouiket [Home Page] 2004/1/6
I thought protestants didn't care about Jesus @_@;

Re:Five Minutes Later
Rachel K. 2004/1/6
No, Kip, Protestantism is one of the two major branches of Christianity, Catholicism is the other, and both have different demonitions that fall under those catergories (i.e. Greek Orthadox Catholics, Roman Catholics, etc. on the Catholic side, and the Baptists, Methodists, etc. on the Protestant side). All Christians, by definition, are followers of Christ (Jesus).
Protestantism began not as a rejection of Jesus, but of the bureaucracy that many believed existed in the Vatican and in Catholicism in general.
(If I got any of the above information wrong, I apologize in advance.)

In any case, I really like this pic. Very cute and funny. :)

Re:Five Minutes Later
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/6
You got most of it right, Rachel ^_^ It was more than just the bureaucracy they were rejecting, it was a whole lot of other problems that Catholicism had at the time. To its credit, the Catholic church reformed itself a bit to respond to the Protestant Reformation, so we no longer have issues such as, say, illiterate priests =)

Re:Five Minutes Later

*gasp!* Lol.

Re:Five Minutes Later
Ghost of Pettigrew [Home Page] 2004/1/8
Yeah, I'm blind, since I missed all this.

But also yeah, as a somewhat-apostate Lutheran, the problems back then WERE that bad. Some Lutherans seem to think it still is that bad. It isn't, but . . . and that's not a topic for here, so I'll shut up now.

Re:Five Minutes Later

I like the whole ' Waxwell taking Integra's glasses ' thing. * Must learn to draw *

[109] Pinx Tux to the Prom

Elizabeth 2004/1/8
Hehe, I got totally bored. Lyrics are here: http://www.songlyrics.com/song-lyrics/Relient+K/Miscellaneous/In+Love+With+the+Eighties+%28Pink+Tux+To+The+Prom%29/74003.html but they have really nothing to do with Integra at all. It's just that I was listening to that CD and I heard that line and it sparked this image. I couldn't resist drawing it. (It's a quickie, though. I paid next to no attention to the lineart . . . .)

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom
Elizabeth 2004/1/8
Gosh, this only took me a half hour??

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom
Chibi 2004/1/9
... Pink tux...?

Sounds more like something Uttena would do...

But I wouldn't put it past her.

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/9
Heh heh. Funny. The Tuxedo Jacket Flap things are off a bit, though.

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/9
Kawaii! Definitely a Utena-type thing to do. Though she's missing her glasses again. (I guess we all know who her prom date is, then...)

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom
Soliloquy [Home Page] 2004/1/9
This is very good! The tux thing fits. And, again, it seems an Utena-type thing... I'm sure you've heard that enough...

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom
Elizabeth 2004/1/9
Actually, I would have done Utena except that this is a Hellsing Oekaki.

We need to find a solution to this glasses problem . . . I'm just not good at drawing them, and since I don't wear them, I often forget to . . . so tell you what:

My AIM is "izzyannamoranna" and my MSN is "bizzy_izzy@hotmail.com". Add me, and if I'm ever online, say at some point, "If you're drawing Integra, don't forget her glasses you dummy!"

Re:Pinx Tux to the Prom

Thats really good. I can't draw anything. Most of the time I try to draw they look.... Stupid.

[111] Maxwell's favorite past-time

Chibi 2004/1/9
Maxwell's favorite past-time:
Annoying Integra, of course!

It feels soooo good to be able to use the oekaki board again! So, of course, I draw chibi's, as usual.

Re:Maxwell's favorite past-time
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/9
Heh heh heh.

I like the way you've done Maxwell's hair. You should try shading the rest of it ^^ Also, give them eyebrows, and color Enrico's tongue =P

Re:Maxwell's favorite past-time
Chibi 2004/1/10
It was more or less a quick scribble intended to say, ' Hi! I'm back!' More than anything else...

They're chibi... do they really need eyebrows...?

And thank you for the compliment on his hair, I appriciate it!

Re:Maxwell's favorite past-time
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/10
Of COURSE chibis must have eyebrows! They have absolutely no need for noses, and don't always have to have fingers and toes, and female chibis are in no way required to have the usual female curves, but it is absolute gospel decree that chibis must always be drawn with eyebrows. On pain of death.

But we'll let you off easy this time, because it's so cute. (Somehow, that happens a lot with chibis.)

By the way, welcome back =D

Re:Maxwell's favorite past-time
Chibi 2004/1/10
I'll keep all that in mind the next time I decide to omit eyebrows XD

CHIBI!!!!!!

[112] Look, she did it again.

Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/10
I can hear Elizabeth now . . . 'Oh, no, Erin did ANOTHER parody of my art! Why won't she leave it alone?'

Because your stuff just keeps inspiring parodies from me, Elizabeth =D I don't know why.

Anyway, this is a little insight into what's going on behind the scenes in Elizabeth's "Pink Tux to the Prom" picture, and why Integra's arm is reaching offscreen...

Re:Look, she did it again.
Elizabeth 2004/1/10
You are soooo mean. I am going to get back at you, I really am.

Re:Look, she did it again.
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/10
And I fully expect your method of "getting back" to be as funny as my parodies; otherwise, you'll never hear the end of it XD

Re:Look, she did it again.
Elizabeth 2004/1/10
Actually, I might not even get back at you . . . there's nothing to get back *with*. *sob sob*

Re:Look, she did it again.
Chibi 2004/1/10

Very funny...
I think, 'Maxwell taking Integra's glasses' is going to be a recurring theme for a while.

[115] Hot Youngin

Kim the Vampire 2004/1/11
Hello all, I am Kim the Vampire, perhaps you've heard of me! hehe. Anyway, I am THE origional and largest fangirl of Anderson, and I have come to purify this oekaki board with his holinesses presence!

Re:Hot Youngin

Oh, uh, I see.

. . . right.

I like your style. *nod nod* Very nice.

Re:Hot Youngin
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/11
Kawaii! Although his tongue and scar are white, and whatever program you used to save this, I'd find a better one, because it came out all pixel-y.

Your style is . . . very un-anime. It reminds me of some Harry Potter fanart I've seen. If you just moved that scar to his forehead and filled his hair in with black, he could pass for Harry, I think . . . That's not to say that it's a bad style, though, because it's quite good =)

Re:Hot Youngin
Elizabeth 2004/1/11
Yeah, me too.

Re:Hot Youngin
Kim the Vampire 2004/1/11
Hahaha, sorry for sounding conceited...I just wanted to introduce myself! Uh....I guess this sounds like sinning but I dislike anime...I do not draw it. So never expect to see Andy in anime...sorry ya'll.
Yeah, I saved this style as PNG so it saved stupid...
thanks for the comments though!

Re:Hot Youngin
Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/12
Ooh, I like this style. Sometimes we just need some variety asides from anime. This kinda reminds me of a comical Disney or of the like. Either way, it's really cute! Welcome. :)

Re:Hot Youngin
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/12
Actually, Kim, I have seen your site. There isn't much on it . . . but I do remember the declaration of Alex-fangirl-ness =)

Re:Hot Youngin
Kim the Vampire 2004/1/12
Wow. Somebody has ACTUALLY seen my first site? Well, explanation is needed for that....See, I never had a scanner or my own internet until Christmas, but I have ALWAYS had intention of expanding the site...either of that one or on Geocities...or until I get a site making guide. PLEASE expect more in the future, it will come.
Thanks for all the compliments, makes me feel welcome!

[118] Small Andy

Here is a pic I did of the little Alex awhile ago...and I ACTUALLY tried to do him the anime style...in my opinion failing horribly...once a Disney artist...ALWAYS a Disney artist!

Yah....and I didnt bother editing him because I have edited him majorly once before...maybe I will upload that one later.

Re:Small Andy

Whoobang!

Yaaay! You're style - anime or Disney - is so original. I love it. n_____n I shall now oogle the pen strokes. Again and again and again. Have you ever thought of trying a soft cell CG color before? It would fit wonderfully with this use of pen/graphite.

Re:Small Andy

I dont even know what soft cell CG is! I dont have photoshop or anything...I gotta get it from a friend sometime cause it looks fun!

Re:It's called all purpose cuteness!
Kim the Vampire 2004/1/16
Uh....Alucard...it becomes more and AND more apparant to me that I am one of the only Hellsing lovers who strongly dislike Integra and really care not for Alucard. Sure, Alucard is cool and kicks a whole lot of ass, but I dont care for him. People always write him sensitive and such, but I think not. No to Alucard. But awesome pic, Alucard is great as a dog.

Re:It's called all purpose cutenes
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/16
Well, if people write him sensitive, that's not Alucard-ish at all! The TRUE Alucard, though, is cool.

And Integra should rock your socks. How anyone can really dislike Integra is beyond me. She's so cool!

Re:It's called all purpose cuteness!
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/16
Alucard rocks my socks ( An other things, but thats not for this conversation ) Alucard reminds me of my boyfriend ( Except my boyfriend has pnuemonia and Alucard well... can't get sick and I have reminded my boyfriends of this. ) Anway, my bf looks and acts like Alucard. Alucard is far sexier, but my boyfriend kicks alot of ass and has a replica of the Casull ( Whch I envy to the point of scaring Charlie) What an un-Alucard-ie name! ( Yes, I do use parentheses alot, and have horrid spelling, that okay, y'all love me anyway!)

[124] Storming the Hellsing Mansion

Elizabeth 2004/1/16
This is possibly the most time-consuming (and worst) picture I've done. It's for Erin, though I don't see why she'd want it.

There is an accompanying dialogue, however I need to get this checked out with one of the people speaking in it.

And while I realize this presents many opportunities for "Meanwhile" pictures, as the artist, I get first dibs because I had a request for one while I was actually drawing this. =P

Oh, and did I mention that everyone in this picture is out of character?

Integra would be screaming for Alucard (not just looking generally freaked out), Erin would probably have fainted, and I would never point a gun at anyone's head. Not even Integra's. o.O;

OH. And that's actually the outfit I'm wearing right now. I have to scan the T-shirt, it's muchos cool. XD

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/16
* Stands up and smooths shirt after a well deserved laugh attack * Thats cool.

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/17
I would've thought Erin would be shielding Integra from you.

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Caitlin the Angus Young Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/17
O.O 'Lizabeth-sama looketh like me, If she had black cherry hair and hazel eyes. o.O And Integra-sama's mouth loks kinda funny and Erin doesn't have pointy teeth. And if she does, whould you like to join my army of rabid hair-eating squirrels?

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Elizabeth 2004/1/17
Actually, if you read the dialogue (I'm awaiting Erin's response), you'll see why Erin doesn't have to shield Integra.

And Caitie, I've seen a picture of you. I couldn't look less like you if I tried. :-) (For one thing, you're a cutie! Aww. *pinches your cheek*)

If you'll notice, I gave both Erin and myself pointy teeth. Just for fun.

. . . wait just one gosh-darn second. "Sama"?

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/17
Oh goodness the quality is insanely good, but I am scared none-the-less, but that was a given. I'd probably be cleared up if we were allowed the dialogue, but I won't push it.

Isn't "sama" translated into ma'am? Not sure, (I'm not good with Japanese titles), but it sounds kinda funny either way. XD

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Lucy the Seras Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/17
oh my goodness, how i love pictures like this. i can't wait to see the dialogue (if you get to put it up or what not). i have to draw more!! my computer's been down, in case anyone was wondering (though i don't know why anyone would...). it's very nice. i especially like the shading, and.. it's just funny!

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Elizabeth 2004/1/17
Actually, "sama" is a suffix of the highest respect, usually given to royalty, God, or Integra. It basically means "lord" or "lady". It's, um, a bit scary coming from people who you would expect to hear a "chan" from. Especially Caitlin. Yes indeedy.

Re:Storming the Hellsing Mansion
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/21
I just saw the dialogue. I can't stop laughing. Post it, post it, post it, this is incredible.

[125] Hmm..

Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/16
This popped into my head while I was in the strangest of places (the idea came to me while I was having a biopsy done XD). Kind of strange, but I suppose it was a side effect of the medicines? Not sure, even now I don't really understand it,but I think it's bittersweet cute.

Not sure...maybe Integra "embracing" her inner child or whatnot? Or perhaps the Alucard dog is being manipulative again. And yay for generic, overdone lyrics. Appraise to Disney. Goodnight, all.

Re:
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/16
That struck something inside me and I felt the need to cry and throw my computer moniter ( I did neither in case your wondering ) I like that

Re:Re:

Ahhhh . . . quel sweet. :-) Mulan is truly a great movie, ne?

What were you having a *biopsy* for?

Re:Re:

What's a biopsy?

Re:Re:
Elizabeth 2004/1/17
Isn't it some kind of test to see if you have cancer?

Re:Re:

Ja, I might have skin cancer (hope hope hope it's not melanoma) on my leg and back. I think I mentioned that in the SNRPG guild a while back, where at first suspicions were negative, however; recently they decided it's developed to when a biopsy would be nice. Gooo team. o_x

Any who! Yes, Mulan. That was my faaavorite Disney movie until Atlantis came along. :} I'm such an eight-year-old at heart. You can't beat the girl with the magically cliche crystal.

Re:Re:
Elizabeth 2004/1/17
My favourite Disney movies are The Lion King, Mulan, Atlantis, Pocahontas, and both Toy Stories. In no particular order. (Except that Toy Story Two was better than the first one. ^^)

Re:Re:
Josh the Seras FanBoy 2004/1/17
My favorite movie of all time is Beauty and the Beast. I've loved that movie since I was old enough to remember seeing it. It seems entirly diffrent now that I've read that comic on here...

Re:Re:
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/21
Whoa. I like this. A lot. A whole lot. Double-plus-good with knobs on (to mix books).

i love the picture and mulan is a truly great movie! girls can kick butt to! oh,and i love integra's expression

[133] just a little sketch

akasha [Home Page] 2004/1/19
Hmm.. ok as the title says it's just a sketch. Sadly my computer decided to die on me, and now I can't finish the pic because I can't use my tablet with my laptop (and I don't even think about coloring with a touchpad ^^; )

Re:just a little sketch
El Vira the Alucard Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/19
The irony is just deafening

Re:just a little sketch
Lucy the Seras Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/19
I like it! And yes, irony ^^ Oh how I love "Dracula" (in that I was referring to the book, but yes, the guy himself is very interesting.)

Re:just a little sketch
akasha 2004/1/19
I thought a little role reversal couldn't hurt *g*

Re:just a little sketch
Ghost of Pettigrew [Home Page] 2004/1/19
Heh. Cute. Akasha, eh? Does the Queen know you've absconded with her given name?

On other, related tangents, the depth perception on this needs some work. Very detailed, well-done besides that. And apparently, you're one of those who thinks dear Al is Dracula.

Re:just a little sketch
akasha 2004/1/19
I hope the Queen never finds out :P
Yes, the perspective still needs work (a lot of work ^^;)
I came to think that Alucard is Dracula after episode 13. At the end, after Alucard has defeated Incognito, you see Incogito's dead body impaled on a long picket and that looks so much like the work of Vlad 'the Impaler' Dracula O_o

Re:just a little sketch
Rachel K. 2004/1/19
Also, during the fight with Incognito, when Incognito asks "Who are you?" Al grins especially evilly, and there's this shot where half his face looks strikingly like portraits of Vlad Tepes, aka "Vlad the Impaler".

And I believe I have heard that it's made pretty clear in the manga that Alucard is one in the same with the Dracula of Bram Stoker's novel.

Cute pic, although, for some reason, it kind of looks like Al is talking on a cel phone.

Re:just a little sketch
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/20
And there's the little comment about how his name's an anagram (although this is assuming that his name is Alucard, not Arucard, since Arucard has no meaningful anagrams <http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=arucard>)

Re:just a little sketch
Rachel K. 2004/1/20
Yes, Alucard is Dracula backwards.
Simple as that, really.

Re:just a little sketch
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/20
And don't forget the manga scene in Brazil where he impales all the innocent gunmen on flagpoles.

Re:just a little sketch
Rachel K. 2004/1/20
Okay, here's a site where a fan explains a more obscure section of the manga, i.e, the one that basically says
Alucard = Dracula, as a service to fans who are not familar with the details of Bram Stoker's novel.
http://slashmistress.net/bloodfire/translations.php
And now the anime shot that implies pretty strongly that dear ol' Al is one in the same with everyone's favorite Impaler:
http://www.thehellsing.org/alucard/dracula1.jpg
Compare the right half of the image to this portrait of the historical Vlad Tepes:
http://www.thehellsing.org/alucard/dracula2.jpg

Re:just a little sketch
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/21
Pretty! Alucard looks sort of . . . not himself, though. He looks a bit bishounen, and that plus the outfit makes him look like someone out of Utena...

Re:Re:

Re:Re:

Kawaiiiiiii!

I like the colors, too; they look . . . rain-washed and bright. It's gorgeous ^_^

Re:Re:

The clothes and the hair just stand out. Very 3D-ish. And I can't help but love the glow of her face. Makes me want to draw Seras. :3

And oh the clouds! They blend so smoothly with the colors, it's just ninga cool. I wanna see mroe of your art!! *whine*

[139] Taunt

Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/25
One can only guess whose neck is at the other end of the necklace. I, being a rabid AxI fangirl, perfectly know (and in saying that, you should know who I envision :E), however; imagine as you want and stuff.

I dropped my other unfinished pic. Terribly sorry, but once I pause something, I just can't pick it up again. Please delete it. :(

Re:Taunt
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/26
Okay, no worries.

This is gorgeous, by the way =) I love your style here. It's very interesting. The good kind of interesting, I mean.

Re:Taunt
Elizabeth 2004/1/26
Loff the white outline, but not so much the AxI innuendo.

Re:Taunt
El Vira the Alucard Fangirl 2004/1/27
I like this picture.

Re:Taunt
Vera the Alucard Fangirl 2004/1/27
This picture is very pretty...

Re:Taunt
Abby von Helsing [Home Page] 2004/1/28
So very pretty. Like Elizabeth said, I love the outline in white. She looks almost peaceful here - maybe it's the little orange bubbles in the background.

I did think that her necklace was a coat hanger at first, but then I saw the note. Yay, AxI!

Re:Taunt
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/28
A very gorgeous pic. However, it appears that there's no one on the other end of the necklace, and if there is, they either have a very thin neck or a flat face. See where Integra's nose is in proportion to the necklace?

Re:Taunt
Integra-chan 2004/1/29
super cool...wish i cool do that. (wish i could spell too)

Re:Taunt
Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/29
Urh...I have no idea what you meant by that Maddie. ^^; (Not to sound rude, I love C&C! I pine for it!!) For the sake of my confusion, could you restate it?

Re:Taunt
Elizabeth 2004/1/29
I think what she meant was that the necklace tapers so soon that it'd have to be somone's finger on the other end or something; see how it's thin near the edge of the picture? The face should be showing or it should be thicker.

Re:Taunt
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/2/2
Yeah, Elizabeth's got it.

[141] AxI

Tal The Enrico Fangirl 2004/1/29
the first suggestive picture I ever drew...I was blushing the whole time

Re:AxI
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/29
Heh heh...evilnesss ^_~

Alucard's face is drawn very well. I think I know the scene where you might have gotten the ref pic, if you used a ref pic, that is.

Re:AxI
Integra-chan 2004/1/29
Alucard is done very nicely..ummmm...but do you think Integra would let Alucard do that with out being beaten badly?

Re:AxI
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/29
This is spiffy. I love the wrinkles, and you've managed to pull off a complex pose between two people without ruining the proportions, which is hard . I think Alucard's skin is a little too yellow (and Integra's a little too pink, for that matter), and you need to get a ref pic for Integra's hair. But I like this picture very much ^_^

Advance their relationship several stages, and this could happen. Except for the fact that Integra's either looking at the camera or breaking the fourth wall and looking at the audience, and if she knew she was being watched this sort of thing would NEVER happen ^~

Re:AxI
akasha 2004/1/29
Whohooo an AxI pic! And beautifully drawn, too =) Being the avid AxI shipper that I am, I absolutely love your pic ^^
Though I agree with Erin; Integra's skin should be a bit darker.. but then again I never manage to get her skin tone right either, so I guess I shouldn't talk ^^;;

Re:AxI
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/29
I like this picture... although I would like it better if I was in it. Taking Integras place that is. My friend KayLeigh ( Whom is a lesbian ) would like for me to ad that she wants to take Alucards place. I agree with Integra-Chan. She would beat the hell out of him.

Re:AxI
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/29
Just to add, His arm ( the left one ) seems to come out of no where. Could just be my eyes. The nearsightedness I faked for years is starting to really show itself. Stupid human eyes!

Re:AxI
Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/29
Holy...*twitchCLING*

Ooo, my face is this wonderful claret color. But besides that fact, this makes me smile like some silly school girl. Awww. :3 AxI goodness!!

Re:AxI

El Vira, did you ever post a confession on Dailyconfession.com about faking nearsightedness and then eventually needing glasses . . . ?

Re:AxI
Vera the Alucard Fangirl 2004/1/30
oooOOooOOOooo....... i wolud much rather it be me in integras place, but the art is pretty anyways. and realisticly i think integra would have beaten the hell out of Alucard by now but hey how much fun is being realistic? none! hey that ryhmed.

Re:AxI
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/30
No I never said that. I think this pic is ever so spiffy. Vera, KayLeigh says hi.

Re:AxI
Vera the Alucard Fangirl 2004/1/31
Hi KayLeigh!*teehee* El vira said spiffy!(not sure why it's funny) whats next? jus'a lil' bit?(note. that last part was an inside joke. vira will git it.) ^_^ TEEHEETEEEHHHEEEE!!!!!!! *runs screaming and bangs head into wall*OUCH! STUPID WALL!

Re:AxI
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/31
Stupid mortal body is more like it Vera. ( The fact that you ran into a wall instead of going through it ) Yes I did say spiffy. And if you say 'Jus' a little bit' once more I will thwack you! KayLiegh says hi to everyone on the board!

Re:AxI
Abby von Helsing [Home Page] 2004/1/31
AxI! I love the wrinkles in their clothing, and the pose is very yummy. Integra's hair looks a bit less pointy than normal, but I like the catlike expression. I absolutely adore Alucard's face - so predatory. And I pretty much agree with several others that I want to be in Integra's position right now.

Re:AxI
El Vira The Alucard FanGirl 2004/1/31
Just so everyone knows Vera and I go to school together and are so close its like were sisters ( bwahahaha... Sarcasm... gotta love it.. don't thawk me Vera) Anyway, I made a chibi version of this pic... its horrid... Ohh, how I wigh I could draw!

I actually like the way Integra's hair is drawn here. And Alucard, as always, is a sexy beast!

Re:God help us all

Heh heh. Alucard...as a priest. I wonder what kind of sermons he'd give. The cape thing looks like it's about to blow off him. Cool effect, though.

Re:God help us all
Integra-chan 2004/1/29
very cool. Integra-chan likes this a A LOT!!!!

Re:God help us all
Erin the Integra Fangirl [Home Page] 2004/1/29
Spiffy.

Hands are too small, he's gonna lose that cape in a minute, and he would probably have an allergic reaction to that cross, but other than that, this is great ^_^ Not to mention being quite a unique idea.

Re:God help us all

This could temp me to actually go to church...

Re:God help us all

Re:God help us all

Wht can't I ever meet priests like that, huh? What does God have against me??? Moving forward in this conversation, I do like this picture. He looks so SEXY in this picture!

Re:God help us all

El Vira dear, Alucard ALWAYS looks sexy. But i concur(did i spell that right?) This is an awsome pic!

Re:God help us all

Alucard's face vaguely resembles Enrico's in this pic - not sure what to make of that.

Re:God help us all
Abby von Helsing [Home Page] 2004/1/31
Alucard's face vaguely looks like Enrico's here - I don't know how to react to that.

Now I see the meaning of "dressed to kill"...

Re:God help us all
Vera the Alucard Fangirl 2004/1/31
Ha! i DID spell concur right i looked it up in the dictionary! and El vira said (over the phone) she thought it needed an 'e'. HHHHHAAAAAHHHHAAAA!!!!!!! i was right El vira!

Re:God help us all

Vera honey. I would not be proud if I were you, becuase in the 320 years I have known you, this is the first time you have been right about anything. (Except for shutting up about Walter and the tea incedent)

Re:God help us all

Re:God help us all

Re:Rar

too bad Alucard's gonna kick the arse of whoever said that.

Re:Rar

Alucard could take out Michael Jackson with one flick of his fingers.

Many sexy Alucard pics here lately...the Alucard fangirl is very pleased.

Re:Chibi Integra

Re:Chibi Integra

There, I made a couple of minor edits, just to make the colouring a bit neater.

Re:Chibi Integra

Yes, El Vira, we do need more Walter-y goodness! Not just Walter in plushie form, either (although that is very cute). *glances at Erin and Elizabeth*

And as for the drawing - AWW! I'm in love with her expression - it's so innocent and different from modern-day Integra.

[145] Mwahahaha...

Morgan [Home Page] 2004/1/31
This, young crickets, is what happens when you think of Integra, Alucard, and unlikely but never-the-less-funny-to-think-about events. Yeah, I don't think young Integra would stand for being called a "demon child"...

Re:Mwahahaha...

Re:Mwahahaha...
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/1/31

Alucard's got vampire strength, so he could probably just through the lid aside (though that would hurt Integra...)

I like the shading on here. It's realistic, in a way.

Re:Mwahahaha...

Hey, stop spoiling the fun, Maddie! *glare*

. . . speaking of fun, maybe Integra's not the only one enjoying this. o.o;;

Oh I know very well that's what he'd do, had not Integra been specific. ^^; I mean come on, what's more fun than taking advantage of your Master privileges?

X3 Why would Alucard enjoy being stuck in his coffin? ...wait, were you talking about yourself? Gyeh, I'm so confused!

[147] Desert Rose

Elizabeth 2004/2/2
I've wanted to do a picture to this song for a long time -- then I remembered that Integra's mom is Indian.

I know her shoulders look lopsided, but if you look, she's slightly turned. ^_^;

Lyrics to Desert Rose are as follows:

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in pain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

I dream of fire
Those dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire
And in the flames
Her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire

This desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this

And as she turns
This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams
This fire burns
I realize that nothing's as it seems

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in pain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

I dream of rain
I lift my gaze to empty skies above
I close my eyes, this rare perfume
Is the sweet intoxication of her love

I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in pain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand

Sweet desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this

Sweet desert rose
This memory of Eden haunts us all
This desert flower, this rare perfume
Is the sweet intoxication of the fall

Re:Desert Rose

Ooh. Pretty.

I didn't know Integral's mum was Indian.

Now the reasons why she doesn't look like Van Helsing make sense, rather than "we just wanted a dark-skinned character in our manga."

Re:Desert Rose

Re:Desert Rose
Maddie [Home Page] 2004/2/2
The eyes and the sari are gorgeous. The hairstyle is also interesting. I think her nose might be off, though. I'm pretty sure Integra's nose is straighter, or maybe just bigger, and goes lower.

Re:Desert Rose

Thoughts:
Wow!
She was indian?
Damn, why didn't I take that art class last summer when I had the chance?
I love this picture. Such pretty lyrics too!

The lips are scaring me. Aren't people's lips usually darker than their skin tone?

The eyes and the sari and the skin are gorgeous - I think her neck is too thick and her arms perhaps too straight (and a little skinny) - the shading is beautiful. Cool song, too.

She could be wearing lip gloss. *shrug*

Just listened to the song, and I recognized it - I used to love that song, even though I never understood the lyrics and then forgot about it when the radio stations moved on ^_^; It's a beautiful song . . . and so sad . . .

I like Rip, she's my fav. Millennium member ^^
And no, she's NOT making rude gestures; her hand only looks like that because I suck at drawing hands ;_;

Whoa.

Head's a litle big and her left eye's a bit too far back, but this is very spiffy. I love the shading on the suit, and the butons, and the hair ^__^ Rip's hair in general is very cool, too, which helps.

I like Rip best out of Millennium, too, but the Major is a close second. He's just so utterly creepily adorable ^__^ Part of it being the fact that he's so short and plump he looks halfway to being chibi on a regular basis...

The Major's pretty cool, too.. and how can you not like a guy who has a name as stupid as Montana Max and still manages to become the leader of an organisation as big and as evil as Millennium? ^_-

Rip, Major Montana Max, and the rest of the Millenium Nazi Crew are all part of the Hellsing manga. They created Incognito as the main enemy because they needed a climax for the series, but Mr. Hirano (the mangaka) hadn't reached one yet. The millenium crew are supposed to appear in season 2, which will start production once the manga ends.

PS: Millenium makes the freak chips.

Gorgeous shading on her suit and on her hair. Her hands actually look quite spiffy (though a little small - but that might just be due to the size of her head.) I love the pose, too.

What's the text in the background?

The text is some lyrics from 'Dance of the Vampires' in englisch and german
