I really hate the background,
and the colouring, and the lineart is messy and the proportions are off.
And her nose is so pointy and her eyebrows are black . . . and what the hell
kind of a dress is that, anyway?

about?!! This is great! Just the fact that you can COLOR it is awesome!
Personally, I think this picture rocks, so don't be so down on yourself!
Nobody's perfected, but I still think you did a good job. So there.

And I can honestly tell you that
I never would've noticed anything wrong with this if you hadn't tried to
point things out. I still don't see anything really bad about it. So her
eyerows are too thin to have color; so what? The dress looks good and the
rest of it is superb.

You know, there is no need to
tell your art suck so people tell you it doesn't... it seems to be a habit
of yours :) anyway, this is fine, just like the rest of your pictures !

But I'm not doing that. If you
think I am, then don't fricking comment. I don't *care*. It annoys me when
people say my pictures are good. I'm never going to learn anything if people
are just like, "Oh, that's really nice" and "such and such is sooo cute"
or whatever. I know a lot of faults with my art but there's some stuff I
miss, too.
And you have to admit that the background is terrible. You *have* to.

Ok! Since I *HAVE* to, the background
is bad. But don't be so damn hard on yourself. All of you draw way better
than I ever could. If all you ever focus on are your mistakes, then you'll
never see the beauty in your work. You should be able to look at you mistakes
and say, "Well, that wasn't my best shot, but now I know what to work on
in the future. I did however ____________ (Fill in the blank appropriatly)."
Don't give your art a tounge lashing just because it isn't *PERFECT*. If
I had even half the talent you do, I would have pictures up here. But do
I? No! Which means I am way worse at any type of visual art than you.
You have to be able to see good in your art, as well as the bad. What would
have happened if Kouta Hirano and Gonzo Animation had decided not to publish
(Is that right for a show? I know it's right for the manga but...) Hellsing
just cause there was something wrong with one of the character drawings?
